What is Care Central?

Note: The Care Center interface displays the title "Care Central" to users.

Care Central brings together all your care tasks in one organized space. Instead of jumping between different screens, you can monitor everything, log activities, and spot what needs attention—all from one unified view.

Care Central is organized into four main tabs, each focused on a specific aspect of your care routine:

🏠 Habitats Tab

Your habitat management center. Monitor cleaning schedules, misting needs, and feeding requirements for all your setups. Filter by habitat type (aquarium, paludarium, terrarium, vivarium) or group by haven to stay organized. Learn more about habitat management →

🦎 Crittrs Tab

Track your pets' feeding schedules, health observations, and growth measurements. Plus, use the special "Make Name Cards" feature to create printable ID cards for your collection. Learn more about pet management → or explore our detailed pet setup guide →

🌱 Plants Tab

Keep your botanical friends thriving with watering reminders, growth tracking, and care level monitoring. Perfect for both habitat plants and standalone collections.

📋 Logs Tab

Review your complete care history across all categories. Search, filter, and analyze your care patterns to optimize your routines. See our complete Logging Guide for detailed documentation workflows.

Sorting and Filtering Options

Use the search bar to quickly find any item by name. Works across all tabs to help you locate specific habitats, crittrs, or plants instantly.

Smart Filters

  • Type filters: Habitat types, care levels, species groups
  • Location filters: Filter by haven to focus on specific room setups
  • Status filters: Find items that need immediate attention
  • Combined filtering: Mix multiple filters for precise results

Sorting Options

  • Alphabetical: Classic A-Z ordering
  • Date-based: Most recently updated or created first
  • Care priority: Items needing attention appear first
  • Favorites first: Your starred items at the top

Understanding Care Status Indicators

The color-coded status system shows you care progress at a glance:

Color System

  • Purple (0-20%): Recently cared for, all good
  • Light Blue (20-50%): Still in good shape
  • Green (50-85%): Getting close to care time
  • Orange (85-100%): Care needed soon
  • Red (100%+): Overdue for care

Progress Circles

Each care type (misting, cleaning, feeding) has its own circular progress indicator. The fuller the circle, the closer to the next care session.

Scheduled Tasks
