Haven Types & Layouts

Simple Haven

Perfect for beginners or minimalist setups. Two clean slots - one table area and one dresser space.

  • Best for: Single species setups, starter collections
  • Slots: 2 main areas
  • Splitting: Each slot can be divided once

4-Shelf Haven

Classic shelving unit layout with four horizontal levels. Great for vertical space optimization.

  • Best for: Bookshelf setups, apartment living
  • Slots: 4 horizontal shelves
  • Splitting: Each shelf splits up to 2 levels deep

5-Shelf Haven

The power user choice. Five shelves give you maximum organization potential.

Desk Haven

Wide desk setup for larger enclosures or workspace integration.

Creating Your First Haven

Ready to set up your space? The process is smooth and straightforward.

  1. Tap the + button on your havens screen
  2. Choose your layout type from the visual carousel. Take your time here - this sets your whole vibe
  3. Name your haven something that makes sense to you (Living Room, Reptile Cave, The Sanctuary)
  4. Pick a background that matches your style or room aesthetic
  5. Add a description to remember what makes this space special

Your haven appears instantly, ready for habitats. Clean and organized from day one.

Customizing Your Haven

Backgrounds & Themes

Your haven should feel like your space. Browse through background options to find something that matches your room or just looks fresh. You can change this anytime if your style evolves.

Editing Haven Details

Need to update something? Long press your haven name to edit:
